Brief History

From 2004 till 2005 Arx ICT was mainly a one-man company. As of March 2008 Arx is formed from a highly skilled and motivated team of Team Leads, Business Analysts, Software Engineers and Quality Assurance Engineers. CEO and Founder
Wael Ellithy, Ph. D.

Before founding Arx Dr. Wael worked as a Senior Software developer for 4 years with the Silicon Valley based CyberSource, a company that provides businesses with services and software designed to automate the commerce transaction process in multi-sales channel.

Prior to that Wael was part of Lucent Technologies, Bell Labs for 2 years.

Wael earned his Ph D. in 1996 and his Masters in 1993 from West Virginia University - USA, and B. Sc. in 1991 from Ain Shams University all in Electrical and Computer Engineering.

Upon his return to Egypt Wael joined IBM Egypt as a Product Development Team Lead in WebSphere - Monitor division (formerly Holosofx). While also worked as the IT Consultant for Osool ESB. Also worked as Associate Professor at MIU.
